Audrey Nadia Rubinstein

Audrey Rubinstein majored in Journalism and American History at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Her undergraduate thesis was a case study of Native American image appropriation through the lens of her hometown high school’s Native American logo and its impact on the local Native and non-Native community.

She has worked for the past fifteen years in the fields of art and culture— serving in various capacities from instructor, grant writer, video editor, content creator, marketer and publicist.

The Metta Agency specializes in publicity for arts and culture clients. A short list of current and former clients includes Santa Fe Indian Market, Shiprock Santa Fe, The City of Santa Fe, Leeny Sack, David Syre, OTA Contemporary and Chef John Sedlar.  Editorial placements include the New York Times T Magazine, The Washington Post, The Associated Press, The Denver Post, The Dallas Morning News, Sunset Magazine, Cowboys & Indians and Smithsonian, to name a few.

Audrey is passionate about promoting Native art and culture and helping journalists source unique angles that reflect a modern, inclusive and intelligent American Southwest.
